Food Drives help us stock the shelves of the over 30 food cupboards and 61 meal sites they we serve at no cost to the organization.
For your food drive, decide if you will collect food, funds or both. With our access to the wholesale distribution market, we can stretch the dollars you donate. Any food drive is most appreciated! Consider having a theme to your food drive. It’s an easy way to promote your food drive and makes it fun for your group, organization or business. Here are some ideas to get you started.
Please consider transportation as part of your organization’s donation. After your event and food drive, you can deliver the food to a pantry near you or deliver to the Chester County Food Bank. We accept food donations Monday – Friday 8a-4p. Please deliver to our warehouse/loading dock entrance. Contact our office at 610-873-6000 or volunteer@chestercountyfoodbank.org to confirm a date.

Backpack Food Drive
Consider collecting food for our Food Backpack program that provides much needed supplemental food to children. Backpacks, sent home on Fridays during the school year, help to meet the needs of hungry children at times when other resources are not available. Learn more about the program here.
