How You Can Give Food

The Chester County Food Bank is the hub – the warehouse – supporting local food cupboards and feeding sites by holding and distributing FRESH and NON-PERISHABLE food items. We help supply the local food cupboards so they can offer real help to the 40,000 households in Chester County who don’t have enough money for food.

Today, someone will look to a local food cupboard because they lack the funds to buy food. Because we believe NO ONE SHOULD GO HUNGRY, we work everyday to make sure food is in these cupboards.

You can help us support the cupboards with food. Here are some ways to get started:

FOOD DRIVES AT WORK – click here to see our corporate food drive flyer. It’s incredibly rewarding to host a food drive at work. FoodDrives

FOOD CUPBOARDS – if you want to make a donation of food to a cupboard near you, use our cupboard brochure to find a location and contact them about making a donation. FoodCupboardBrochureJanuary2012 CupboardBrochureSpanish

GARDEN GROWN FOOD - we can accept food donations from your home garden. Consider donating some of your harvest to the food bank or a local food cupboard. Groups/Organizations interested in participating in our Raised Garden Bed Program can learn more in this brochure: RaisedGardenBedBroch
