The Chester County Food Bank is offering local residents a 3’ x 8’ x 10” Raised Bed Garden Kit for a suggested donation of $50.00. These kits will be available for pick up at the Food Bank on Saturday May 19th from 9:00 am to 12 noon.
You may also order on the 19th the following garden accessories at the suggested donation prices of:
Bean Trellis $60.00 Tomato Cage $35.00 Sawbuck $30.00Some accessories will be available for purchase the day of the pickup.
Food Bank staff will be on hand that day to answer questions about the construction and care of your garden!

The Chester County Food Bank has built over 400 raised bed gardens at 80 different sites in Chester County to help feed hungry people. These sites include schools, businesses, religious organizations, community agencies, and local parks. Each bed has the potential to grow fresh food for over 3 seasons!
