The Outdoor Classroom at Springton Manor Farm

Springton Manor Farm is part of the Chester County park system. This 300 acre farm, located in Glenmoore, PA has been is use since the 1700s, and is maintained for educational and heritage purposes.

The Chester County Food Bank has partnered with Chester County Parks & Recreation to form The Outdoor Classroom. Programs developed and run by the Food Bank include, nutrition and gardening field trips; workshops for students, educators, and community members; and food production for the Chester County residents in need.

The outdoor classroom’s raised bed gardens are open for self-guided tours during regular park hours. The gardens are located behind the farmhouse and can be enjoyed by all visitiors.
