Here is an idea for your spring cleaning efforts: Go in your food cupboard and fill up a nice shopping bag with some canned and boxed food
- not out of date, preferably – and get it ready for the annual National
Association of Letter Carrier Food Collection Day on Saturday, May 8. Your efforts will help you trim the amount of crowding your cupboards may have encountered during the long winter when you wanted to make sure you had enough soup and canned veggies in case you got snowbound, but it will also help fill the shelves of the 60 or more food cupboards and feeding sites in Chester County. And believe us, they could use the help.
