Fresh Produce Prescription  (FVRx) Coordinator

Under the supervision of the Fresh2You Mobile Market Manager, the FVRx Coordinator will work with mobile market staff to increase access to fresh fruits and vegetables for food insecure households in Chester County. The FVRx Coordinator will act as the main point of contact for all FVRx health care partners and will be responsible for implementing FVRx related activities with Fresh2You Mobile Market team. Processing Kitchen Associate

This position will work under the supervision of the Produce Manager in regards the receiving, storage, staging, and processing of all fresh produce. This position will also be responsible for inventory management of fresh produce and partnering with the Director of Warehouse and Logistics for the distribution of all fresh food to CCFB programs and partnering agencies. During the off-season the Processing Kitchen Associate assists the Produce Manager in evaluating supply and demand of produce throughout the season and plan for the upcoming season. Internship Opportunities

Looking for field experience as part of your educational program for college? Students are encouraged to apply for listed internship opportunities as well as for opportunities that may not, as of yet, be listed on our website.  To apply, submit a letter of interest to the department manager, specifying the goals of your school’s field experience program, and/or your own personal goals.  College representatives may also contact us on behalf of students involved in educational programs that require field experience.

Internship projects are unpaid and provide an educational experience for a college student under the mentorship of a Food Bank manager and sponsoring educational institution.
