The Chester County Food Bank takes a fresh approach to nourishing our neighbors who are struggling with hunger and food insecurity.

Access to fresh produce for those we serve is an ongoing challenge. Many factors, such as lack of transportation, limited income, or scarcity of a grocery store are barriers to having fresh food as part of a healthy, balanced diet.

Our Agricultural Program is comprised of partnerships with local farms, purchasing at local produce auction, and our raised bed garden program we strive to provide half of the food we distribute to be fresh fruit and vegetables.
