Chester County Organizations Rally Around CCFB

The Chester County Food Bank has been shown an outpouring of generosity from several incredible organizations across Chester County this year, receiving a combined total of over $519,000 in monetary donations from the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup, Help Feed Chesco, and the Foxwynd Foundation. These funds will make a large difference for CCFB as we continue to pursue our mission of ensuring access to nutritious and familiar food to Chester County neighbors facing food insecurity.

We are truly grateful for the support and kindness shown to us by all who contributed to these donations. Thank you, Chester County, for standing with us in our continued fight against food insecurity.

CCFB Receives Generous Fellowship Grant from Foxwynd Foundation

We are thrilled to announce that the Chester County Food Bank has received a three-year, $225,000 fellowship grant from the Foxwynd Foundation, supporting our mission to ensure access to nutritious and familiar food across Chester County.

“This grant will allow us to increase our purchasing of the Core Four by nearly 25 percent each quarter,” said Andrea Youndt, CEO of the Chester County Food Bank. “At a time when food prices and demand are both rising, the Foxwynd Foundation Fellowship grant ensures we can continue to prioritize fresh and healthy food that promotes dignity, stability, and well-being for our neighbors.”

Thank you to our friends from Foxwynd for your generosity and dedication to helping expand food access for all Chester County neighbors facing food insecurity.

The Pennsylvania Hunt Cup Raises $75,000 for CCFB

For the past 13 years, the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup has been a dedicated supporter of the Chester County Food Bank. Over the course of this relationship the Hunt Cup has contributed over $890,000 to support our neighbors in need. We greatly appreciate their kindness, friendship, and support of our mission to ensure access to nutritious and familiar food to Chester County neighbors struggling with food insecurity.

This year at their historic 90th running of the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup, $75,000 was raised and donated to us to help us feed our community. Thank you to the PA Hunt Cup committee for your commitment to our mission, and to all who contributed to this incredible donation. We could not do what we do without the generosity of our community.

CCFB Receives Generous Donation from Help Feed Chesco

The Help Feed Chesco campaign has officially wrapped with an incredible $219,238 raised, surpassing the $200,000 goal to support the Chester County Food Bank during a time of rising need.

Our deepest gratitude to Chester County United Way, United Way of Southern Chester County, Chester County Community Foundation, and The Alliance for Health Equity for establishing the $100,000 matching fund that helped power this campaign, and to the remarkable generosity of our community, including individual donors and corporate and foundation supporters:

Thank you for helping ensure our neighbors have access to nutritious food when they need it most.
