Fruit Filled Overnight Oats

This easy overnight oats recipe is a healthy simple breakfast that you can make ahead for busy mornings!

Yields2 Servings
 1 cup old-fashioned oats
 1 cup water or milk of choice
 ½ tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice blend (or to taste)
 2 cups fresh fruit (grated apples, diced peaches, blueberries)
 optional: 1 tbsp honey, brown sugar, or maple syrup to taste

Place all ingredients into a large bowl and mix gently until combined.

Cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight.

Uncover and enjoy! Thin with a little more milk/water, if desired.

Fruit Filled Overnight Oats

Additional Notes

Overnight oats can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days. This makes for ideal meal prep to make for the week ahead.

Do not use quick oats. They'll turn to mush.

You can use frozen or canned fruit too but be sure to drain canned fruit well or use less milk/water.
