Parmesan Crusted Acorn Squash

Give acorn squash a flavor boost with this Roasted Parmesan Acorn Squash recipe. A delicious and easy side dish that's made with just 5 ingredients.

Ingredients:
 1 acorn squash
 2 tbsp oil
 ¼ cup parmesan cheese
 2 tsp garlic powder
 salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Cut squash in half and remove the seeds from center. Then cut each half into 1-2 inch slices.

Combine the oil, parmesan, garlic powder, salt and pepper in a bowl. Toss in the slices of squash and ensure they are fully coated with the cheese mixture.

Spread the coated slices out on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. Turn the slices over and bake for an additional 15-20minutes or until they are crispy on the outside.
