Neighborhood Assistance Program

PA Tax Credit for Businesses

Helping Build Happy Communities

Pennsylvania’s Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) provides substantial support for neighborhoods and communities across Pennsylvania. NAP encourages businesses to invest in projects aimed at revitalizing disadvantaged areas, fostering positive change and vibrant growth.

This special partnership is critical to the Chester County Food Bank since donations leveraging this program enable us to continue to provide the most nutritious food possible to families facing elevated risks and donors receive a 55% tax credit.

As the central hunger relief program in Chester County, our greatest challenge is rising food costs paired with increasing food insecurity. Currently, we’re serving over 40,000 individuals each month. Our fundraising needs have drastically increased in order to meet this need and support during this time is needed now more than ever.

View the Neighborhood Assistance Program application checklist to help guide you in your application submission. Businesses must make their contributions to the awarded nonprofits by the end of the state fiscal year (SFY) in which the credits were awarded (end of the SFY is June 30).
